Percy Weasley

~ “I was a fool! I was an idiot, I was a pompous prat, I was a – a -”
~ “Ministry-loving, family-disowning, power-hungry moron.”
~ “Yes, I was!”

After leaving Hogwarts, Percy’s ambition blinded him to some of the failings of his Ministry bosses – such as spreading fake news, blatant propaganda campaigns or, say, being controlled by Voldemort. You know, just the slight oversights that anybody could make when they’re new to the job.

Teddy & Victoire

“Our Teddy! Teddy Lupin! Snogging our Victoire! Our cousin!”

Teddy, “a lanky half-werewolf with bright blue hair” and “beautiful, blonde” Victoire set tongues wagging when they got together in their teens. It’s hard to tell who was more nosey – Victoire’s younger cousin James or Rita Skeeter in her infamous gossip column. The Weasley/Potter clan remain on tenterhooks to see whether they’ll make it official and Teddy “really will be part of the family”.

Percy Weasley

“Excuse me, I’m a prefect!”

Percy is the third eldest Weasley son, and a bit of a misfit in his large family. He’s “a great believer in rigidly following rules”, which can’t have been easy growing up with Fred and George. Percy is very ambitious and a model student at Hogwarts, first becoming prefect and then Head Boy. Admittedly, these achievements do make him insufferably pompous at times.

Fred & George Weasley

– “We’ve always known where to draw the line.”
– “We might have put a toe across it occasionally.”

Fred and George Weasley are famous within Hogwarts as “Trouble Makers in Chief”. This frustrates some people – their mother, Percy, Argus Filch – but amuses and delights most of their fellow students. All this magical mischief is valuable research, as they have big plans of opening a joke shop together. The twins are “identical to the last freckle” and always inseparable. Even their family get the two confused sometimes.

Ginny Weasley

“You don’t know how weird it is for her to be this shy. She never shuts up normally.”

Ginny is the youngest Weasley sibling and can’t wait to get to go Hogwarts like her brothers. She might be small, but “size is no guarantee of power”. She learns to be handy with a Bat-Bogey hex and has been picking the lock to her brothers’ broom shed since she was six. Her only weak spot is The Boy Who Lived, on whom she has a pretty embarrassing fan-girl crush.

Harry, Ron & Hermione

There are some things you can’t share without ending up liking each other…

Harry and his two best friends at Hogwarts, Ron and Hermione.

Ginny Weasley

“Anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”

Ginny is the youngest child and only girl in the large Weasley family, and having six older brothers has definitely toughened her up. Ginny is daring, determined and a talented Quidditch player. She’s also a brave ringleader of the DA, outgoing and generally “too popular for her own good”. She also seems to bring out a slightly, ahem, monstrous side of Harry.

Bill Weasley

“No one at the bank gives a damn how I dress as long as I bring back plenty of treasure.”

Bill is the eldest Weasley brother, who has a weakness for “a bit of adventure, a bit of glamour”. He gets his kicks from a thrill-seeking job as a Gringotts curse breaker, not to mention from the stunningly beautiful Fleur Delacour.
